Perspectives
looking at your own problem, looking at somebody else’s problem
2018
Photographic print 70 x 50 cm, clay, rose thorns, linen
The work is about the distance between myself and the others, using the relationship everybody has with pain, but not mediated by language: my skin | your skin. My problem | your problem. It refers to a primitive language to express what always characterizes the human being: his own unique perception of the world, in relation to that of others. The relationship with the others originates from the negotiation of these two perspectives.
