In "Beached off 1, 2 and 3" I place in a glass case the sculpture of a skeleton trapped by a house structure. It is a relics of a deep feeling. The title refers to a large beached water animal, perhaps a whale. I want to analyze a state -that now is visible thanks to the image- following a precise method: contemplation, objectification, investigation. I want to use a method that simulates the scientific approach to focus on something intangible such as a mild state of mind, not striking, nor dramatic: just a simple hint of paralysis. So the process, driven by paraphrasing science, becomes the pretext of a movement. It becomes the remedy.
