Wood structures are used in orchards and gardens to control the climbing plants growth and development. Is it constriction or discipline?

Humans are not so different from other growing creatures. I imagined a device that, if worn, will help people to improve themselves. A headdress that, looks at Renaissance iconography and generates portraits of people in constant effort for self-improvement, in search of an ever higher inner beauty.
